Some of these quotes are truly awful. Too many children's book quotes, too many poorly worded meta-commentaries on the act of taking these typing tests, yet here I am perpetuating the thing I dislike. I just took one where someone made an argument against plant-based diets because "plants suffer too" and that you cannot eat without inducing suffering. I wonder if they actually believe in their straw man.

I bought a Powerball ticket and a handful of other items from the local gas station. I switched to a different register to pay with card instead of cash, forgetting about the ticket. I found out the lady who rang me out put her 2 weeks in. This is either the best coincidence or my worst mistake. Sadly, I will never know.
