If you redefine hope as something biological, it doesn't go way just because you're feeling discouraged. You can imagine that you're hopeful at the cellular level and that it's stubborn and it doesn't go away. It's just always there, it's the understory, it's your hunger. This has got to be one of the weirdest sorts of online communities I've ever found, this strange typing test forum. Why do I even enjoy doing this?
