Grades are not as important as people think. They are mostly important for what you want to become in the future. Think of them as steps towards your future career. Want to be an astronaut? Have the best grades in science and math. Want to become a lawyer? Learn how to read fast, have great grades in english, and join a debate club. Balance your social life and extracurricular activities, but make grades a priority because your future is the most important thing in life.

- Text and stuff
My Word documents just keep climbing in numbers. I'm at document #50 now. I've tried to change it, but nothing seems to work. So, I'll keep the count going up and up. I also like a short snippet of text to type really fast to build up my WPM. These were two different subjects, but this site won't accept a quote with two paragraphs, so I did not hit the enter key after the word "up."
Rachel Zegler
- The Ballad of Lucy Gray Baird - TBOSAS
I am the one who you let see you weeping. I know the soul that you struggle to save. Too bad I'm the bet that you lost in the reaping. So what will you do when I go to my grave?

- Fray
Why are all these quotes so depressing? Death and sorrow? This world is not fair but it's up to us to stay above the fray. We need to use one space after a period and capitalize the first letter of a sentence. The run-on sentence on social media is an epidemic!

- Purpose
If you were all alone in the universe with no one to talk to, no one with which to share the beauty of the stars, to laugh with, to touch, what would be your purpose in life? It is other life; it is love, which gives your life meaning. This is harmony. We must discover the joy of each other, the joy of challenge, the joy of growth.

- "Exaggerate"
Sometimes, people like to exaggerate when they are complaining about the grammar used in these quotes on this site. If you don't like it, you can always edit the quote. Here's a little bit of useless trivia: Did you know that one can type the word "exaggerate" using only your left hand? Try it again, exaggerate, exaggerate.

- Irresponsible
I dove in blind, took a chance on us. Gave my trust, so in love. And it's difficult for me to open up, you were someone I thought was careful with me. Instead you left me in pieces... If this ain't where you wanted to be, you should've at least, manned up and just let me be...
Myself
- Second Chance
I think about everything I've been through, but I always have to remember that I'm still here, I'm alive. The 28th of December, 2023, I was admitted to the hospital and was intubated for two weeks. It hurts to think of all my family; my kids, my husband, my parents, my closest aunt and uncle, to have gone through the grief they were going through during those two weeks plus a month in the hospital. And I always think about how life would've been for them without me. It saddens my heart.
Emily Dickinson
- split the lark
Split the Lark and you'll find the Music Bulb after Bulb, in Silver rolled Scantily dealt to the Summer Morning Saved for your Ear when Lutes be old. Loose the Flood you shall find it patent Gush after Gush, reserved for you Scarlet Experiment! Sceptic Thomas! Now, do you doubt that your Bird was true?
Stephen King
- The Movies
I love the movies, and when I go to see a movie that's been made from one of my books, I know that it isn't going to be exactly like my novel because a lot of other people have interpreted it. But I also know it has an idea that I'll like because that idea occurred to me, and I spent a year, or a year and a half of my life working on it.

- Meow
I clean the house. As I'm washing the dishes, there is a slight meow going on somewhere. I put a sudsy dish in the sink and dried my hands. Opening the screen door, I wander outside in search of the source. Nothing catches my eye, so I headed back inside the house. You never know in this neighborhood, never know what you might see a bear. They've been spotted up here in this neck of the woods! The meow came from the television. No kitten outside.
Immortal Technique
- You Never Know
So I decided one day to tell her my feelings was true, I couldn't live without her, so I told her, facin' my fears. But honey's only response was a face full of tears. She could only sob hysterically, holdin' me tight, I tried to speak, but she wouldn't stop until I left sight. I felt like a moth who got himself too close to the light. Except I didn't burn, I turned cold after that night.

- MLP FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC
My Little Pony, My Little Pony What is friendship all about? My Little Pony, My Little Pony Friendship is magic! I used to wonder what friendship could be (My Little Pony) Until you all shared its magic with me When I was young I was too busy to make any friends Such silliness did not seem worth the effort it expends But my little ponies, you opened up my eyes And now the truth is crystal clear, as splendid summer skies And it's such a wonderful surprise I used to wonder what friendship could be.

- Using You - Mars Argo
What's with these homies who be dissin' my boy? Do they know I'm aggravated with the negativity and the noise? They tell me "find a wealthy man, " but they don't seem too happy. I was afraid to put myself on the line for a boy, 'til he put me in my place and showed me how to enjoy myself. I think I need your help, I think she's coming back.
William Peter Blatty
- Legion
I believe that this force was a person who long ago tore himself into pieces because of his longing to shape his own being. That was the Fall," he said, "the 'Big Bang': the beginning of time and the material universe when the one became many-legion. And that is why God cannot interfere: evolution is this person growing back into himself.

- = (Equal Sign)
Though I try crying out until I lose my voice, it's a silent outcry. That I'm different, it's palpable. Risen to the top by playing fair, I tilt my head in confusion and hit my chest in frustration. It's such a big, wide world, and such narrow minds people have. We don't necessarily have to be the same, but why is it a sin to be different? Beyond age, beyond gender, beyond nationality. Perhaps this is homework for everyone, that the victim of prejudice is no one else but us.
Mustafa Kemal Ataturk
- Ataturk's Letter to Anzac Mothers - 1934
Those heroes that shed their blood and lost their lives... You are now lying in the soil of a friendly country. Therefore rest in peace. There is no difference between the Johnnies and the Mehmets to us where they lie side by side in this country of ours. You, the mothers, who sent their sons from far away countries, wipe away your tears. Your sons are now lying in our bosom and are in peace. After having lost their lives on this land they have become our sons as well.

- If You Could Read My Mind
If you could read my mind, love, what a tale my thoughts could tell! Just like an old time movie 'bout a ghost from a wishing well in a castle dark or a fortress strong with chains upon my feet. You know that ghost is me. And I will never be set free as long as I'm a ghost, you can't see. If I could read your mind, love, what a tale your thoughts could tell! Just like a paperback novel, the kind the drugstore sells. When you reach the part where the heartaches come the hero would be me.
