This is the story of Thomas Alva Edison. He was fond of asking questions in childhood. One day his teacher became angry with him. She turned him out of the school. Edison found in his mother his best teacher. She answered all his questions patiently. Some of his experiments were silly in his childhood but he learnt a lot from them. He was very fond of books. His father gave him twenty five cents for every book he read. He took up a job in the railway. But he was dismissed after some time for this folly. One day he went with his friend in a factory. The important machine stopped suddenly. Edison repaired it within a short time. He got a good job in the factory.
