* Mettez les index sur les touches qui ont un relief (petit point ou barre)
* A chaque touche il y a un doigt assigné. Une touche doit toujours être tapée par le même doigt.
* Ne regardez pas le clavier, les yeux doivent toujours être sur l'écran
* Entrainez-vous !
My tip is to breathe. If I hold my breath while typing my accuracy decreases, not to mention my WPM. Breathe in and out deeply before beginning the test and be sure to breathe throughout the test. Increasing oxygen to the brain makes the whole body function more accurately...including the fingers!
You know what is most annoying to type, other than quotations and punctuations? British quotes. It really slows down typing when you are trying to type 'color' and it shows up as an error because the quote was spelled 'colour'
My tip to improve your typing speed is to... slow down if you need to. Focus on not making mistakes, you will spend less time trying to find your error, trying to fix it, and getting back into the flow of typing.
Get a nice keyboard. A good keyboard allows you to actually type faster. It also makes the typing experience more satisfying. I was using laptop keyboard for last few years and suddenly switch to mechanical keyboard and found myself typing much faster and really love the experience.
Typing in a desktop keyboard and laptop is quite different. First of all you can't push your fingers otherwise you might end up with unforced errors. Next difficulty is backspace option is not at the standard position, you need to raise you little finger little more. Instead of a correction i did a lot of equals. Better as a beginner use old standard desktop "Keyboard" for progress.
My tip to improve your typing speed is to...take it slow at first. Think about the letters you are typing. Once your fingers build the muscle memory of each letter, you will be able to type fast without even thinking about it.
What really helped me improve my typing speed is...Spending the time that i need for getting better at what i love to do. I love to type because to me it feels so good when you can type a really nice and fast sentence to someone without even trying.
My tip to improve your typing speed is to... just relax and forget about everything around you. take your time and you will find that you make less mistakes.
I practice at least 10 times per day to improve my typing. I also challenge myself in trying to beat my wpm. If I beat it for the day then I did my job.
My tip to improve your typing speed is to... Practice the very basics and improve on them. When doing the type tests, try working on the shorter quotes so that you won't sprain your wrists. Furthermore, if you're up for it, then work on the bigger texts. Most importantly, practice everyday.
The sudden spike is because I took a long break from my account and would basically only type not signed in, so when I remembered my account and signed in I could type significantly faster. I don't sign in to websites all that often so It will probably spike again in a couple of months.
What really helped me improve my typing speed is... that i trained for far too long, till i cried and even after then i trained, till i wasnt perfect. and since everyone knows that perfect is unachieveable, im still training till this day.............
My tip to improve your typing speed is to... visualise the keyboard in your head to prevent you from looking down at it too often as this slows you down.
