* Mettez les index sur les touches qui ont un relief (petit point ou barre)
* A chaque touche il y a un doigt assigné. Une touche doit toujours être tapée par le même doigt.
* Ne regardez pas le clavier, les yeux doivent toujours être sur l'écran
* Entrainez-vous !
I'm definitely not a fast typist, but I can type nonetheless. I use an G810 Orion Spectrum from Logitech, with the Romer-G switches, however I would not completely recommend this keyboard, at least not for typing, I use it for more casual gaming. GG.
My tip to improve your typing speed is that if you're a beginner(like me :)) then take it slow. Just take your time to increase your accuracy and worry about speed later.
Look ahead as you type so that you are anticipating the next word or two as you type the current word. This will force your fingers to more efficiently process the sentence you are typing and produce, hopefully, a faster tempo over time. Works best if you are not constantly making typos, so keep your accuracy close to 100% as you do this for best results.
My tip to improve your typing speed is to... Stick to a steady rhythm, don't speed up and then slow down. Download a metronome, set it at a faster speed than a piano and off you go, find your speed by speeding the metronome up and slowing it down until you are comfortable. THEN try and speed up a bit once you have the rhythm, speed the metronome up little by little, trust me it works !!! and it works well with this typing tutor too from Google, use the two options together for best results! Good Luck, Trevor
one of the biggest wpm killers, for me, is inaccuracy. slow down, get it right the first time, and you spend way less time correcting yourself - and you end up with a much higher wpm.
When my fingers hurt after too much time on the keyboard, I... reflect upon my life, wondering why it is i feel lonely and drained of emotion all the time. Is it something i do or something i did? It is too late to change it? Is the answer something I can find alone? If so that's fine, but I'd rather not be alone.
My tip to improve your typing speed is to... Find a keyboard you like the sound of. Practice daily. Relax. Make sure you are typing in the proper physical stance, posture etc.
When my fingers hurt after too much time on the keyboard, I... go to facebook to creep on my friends and see what is new in the world. Then after a short break I go back to practising as I need to get my score up to 40 WPM for the course I am taking.
My tip to improve your typing speed is to... practice a little every day. It is easier to "sprint type" on shorter quotes. The short one's are where I get the most WPM. : )
My tip to improve your typing speed is to... focus on your accuracy and make sure you practice daily or almost everyday. Your brain will make the neuron connection's through practice over time. Also I like to open another window and put some instrumental music on, it help's me get in the groove and loosen up, which makes typing feel more like second nature. : )
When my fingers hurt after too much time on the keyboard, I do my finger exercises that I do for piano. It helps to relax my fingers and massages them while still stretching them.
A tip for typing: It's better if you don't have an extremely strict, defined assigning of keys to fingers. Sometimes, I use the left hand for y, but other times I use the right hand. It all depends on what the letters are before and after the y.
