* Mettez les index sur les touches qui ont un relief (petit point ou barre)
* A chaque touche il y a un doigt assigné. Une touche doit toujours être tapée par le même doigt.
* Ne regardez pas le clavier, les yeux doivent toujours être sur l'écran
* Entrainez-vous !
I want to make my typing speed above at least 40 wpm, I have been practicing on the key hero for 1.5 years but only gets 42wpms once. Actually, my problem is whenever I punch a key my finger hits in a middle of two keys. That's why it makes a lot of errors, that affects my accuracy and speed. I Became mentally tired and can't pursue this anymore. I use multiple software to improve my typing but at last al results are same. I'm so much heartbroken. Please help me with the best advice for my typing. Thanks.... :(
When my fingers hurt after too much time on the keyboard, I... keep typing.
I figure that if I keep typing while my hands are tired, then that'll force me to learn the hard way how to relax more and flow more smoothly and move more effortlessly. You have to relax when your strength is leaving you. You have to become effortless when you have no more effort to give. You simply have no other option.
My tip to improve your typing speed is to practice common words. For example, there are many words that have "tion" endings. When you can get the flow of being able to type that part, you'll type out that ending using pure muscle memory. This concept can be applied to all words essentially.
What really helped me improve my typing speed was surprisingly playing really difficult songs on a game called Flash Flash Revolution. That was the start of it at least...
What really helped me improve my typing speed is... changing my methods. People really like to prefer one method over another, but I think constantly switching it up helps to keep you aware of a wider variety of challenges from a greater number of perspectives.
Another thing would be practicing more than you probably think is reasonable. This is my 3rd account on this site and between my first two accounts I did about 7,000 tests. My goal is for my all-time average to be in the 99th percentile. I'm going to do 1,000 tests with this new account and if my all-time average can maintain above 106 (99th percentile for QWERTY users on this site), then I will consider myself finished with typing tests. But I only got here by varying my methods and spending countless hours practicing.
My tip to improve your typing speed is to... Learn accuracy slowly. If you can type slow, you can type fast. Be looking to the next word as you type the one before it. Return to home row when done.
What really helped me improve my typing speed is... Typing. A lot. I learned to touch type at a very young age, and started touch typing when I was (I believe) 8. I played a lot of games, did some coding, and around the age of 12, began practicing.
What really helped me improve my typing speed is... Being mad at people on a MMORPG game, having to explain situations and doing some diplomacy stuff. Good times
What really helped me improve my typing speed is... practice accuracy rater than speed.
I read that the next step would be to hit some combos with the fingers that you should't type them with if it is way faster for instance "tre" typed by placing pointer finger on T an follow with the fingers as they are without moving them until the combo is done.
What really helped me improve my typing speed is... expanding my vocabulary. I type faster when I know how to spell, say, and define the words I'm typing.

Ok so I wouldn't say that typing fast is easy. Nor am I the best. But the key would be practising. I'm not that fast of a typer and I mainly do this for fun. But as it's said. Practice does make perfect.
