* Mettez les index sur les touches qui ont un relief (petit point ou barre)
* A chaque touche il y a un doigt assigné. Une touche doit toujours être tapée par le même doigt.
* Ne regardez pas le clavier, les yeux doivent toujours être sur l'écran
* Entrainez-vous !
When my fingers hurt after too much time on the keyboard, I read. No matter what I read I just read. It's learning that's the goal, the trick. I think too many people get tired of writing all day and just decide to stop working. Reading takes work. And it takes work to read. You learn and you grow, and then you write about that experience.
My tip to improve your typing speed is to... when you typed the word don't worry about any mistake just typed the world fast in this way your typing speed is going to be good
Consistent practice even at around 20 min a day, or a few passages to warm up before work does wonders.
I am now at 75-100 wpm - having the passage displayed in large letters is also very helpful. Correct ergonomics and a comfortable work station is also essential.
But most importantly of all just remain patient with yourself - as you practice the muscle memory quite literally melds into your typing and it becomes faster and more accurate with less effort.
It is also essential to practice mindfully and concentrate on what fingers are moving instead of just passively drifting.
My tip to improve your typing speed is to concentrate more on accuracy than speed.... It helps much more than increasing your speed.... I've increased my speed by 15 WPM in just 7-10 days in this method.
Hey thanks. The funny thing is, I never intended for that to be Yoda. I just thought a nonsensical quote that didn't follow proper structure and had made up words might be challenging to type. Originally the author was entered as anonymous. Someone else changed it, so I figured I'd keep it.
What really helped me improve my typing speed has been practicing consistently on the same mechanical keyboard. I use comfortable PBT keycaps with linear Gateron switches.
My typing speed has been around 50-60 wpm for years now and with a few hours of practice over the past 3 weeks has steadily climbed to around 75-90 wpm. I've actually noticed that I am much better while taking notes at work and electronically journaling.
When my fingers hurt after too much time on the keyboard, I... take a break and either read, listen to some good music, surf the internet, or chat with loved ones on the phone or over the internet. Thanks for listening.
When my fingers hurt after too much time on the keyboard, I just keep going. Don't really do anything about it until my arms and shoulders start hurting and it starts affecting my scores. Then I'll finally stop. It's probably not good...
What really helped me improve my typing speed is... play more. Start slow and focus on accuracy to build muscle memory first. Then learn to read ahead and typing rhythm.
Well, you just have to keep doing it . It was the same for me at the beginning but then I started to get along with it, now i type faster when i sing along with the song. Oh and I think it helps if you choose one song to play on repeat when u type, see if your speed increases after 10-15 listens!!
What really helped me improve my typing speed is... oh and I just looked up what hunger pangs means and it's just confused with digestion. You don't actually really need food. Just die.
What really helped me improve my typing speed is...chopping my hands off.
In all seriousness, consistent practice made me like 10 WPM faster. Yea, I don't really get it either. It's like magic. I'm thinking that I should focus on accuracy to push through the 48 - 50 WPM plateau.
Going to deathmatch or w/e to try to increase it without my accuracy going to garbage and embarassing myself publicly on the internet. Then again, I don't care. I will never meet any of you. I'm hungy, going to go eaty-weaty uwu 0w0 w-w-what's t-this? Hunger pangs?
My tip to improve your typing speed is to... have a Mac keyboard. See my explanation on the create a typing test tab. If you're lucky, I might even give some hint's to typing faster on your account!
