It's frustrating when you are typing and trying to improve, but you have to contend with American spelling, it is difficult to understand what the issue is with words such as, colour, mum, aluminium, favourite or behaviour? I struggle to understand how these changes were rationalised, it seems to be an unnecessary attack on the English language.
