Well, I must say that learning to type has been the most rewarding experience, one that I think will help me in many areas of my personal and professional life. This is the thing, just when you think you can't type any faster, suddenly you whiz through a really tough quote and bam! You typed faster than you ever did before. That's a great feeling.

We have all witnessed the failure of reason to stand up to the power of populism. Many argue that only reason can prevail against the darkness and ignorance that pervades these times. Using reason, reasonable people asserted the perils that awaited us should the electorate choose poorly. And yet it so chose. Of those whose hopes for the future are tied up in our efforts to reason with populists, I ask: what is reason's worth if it cannot prevail?
