- characteristics of an aquatic ecosystem
An aquatic ecosystem is comprised of many different factors. A primary difference between the different factors are whether or not they are considered biotic or abiotic. Some abiotic factors of aquatic ecosystems include the depth, clarity, pH, turbidity, salinity, temperature, amount of dissolved oxygen, amount of sunlight and the types of dissolved nutrients inside ecosystem. Three primary zones are present in the water, and they are characterized by the type of flora and the level of sunlight.

One of the important factors under hormonal control is the stomach acid environment. During the gastric phase, the hormone gastrin is secreted by G cells in the stomach in response to the presence of proteins. Gastrin stimulates the release of stomach acid, or hydrochloric acid (HCl) which aids in the digestion of the proteins. However, when the stomach is emptied, the acidic environment need not be maintained and a hormone called somatostatin stops the release of hydrochloric acid.

Americans can really get ahead of themselves. Lack of skilled labour, lack of colour (hehe), and act as if they are the centre of the world (nah, jk). In my defence, I have not seen many Americans act honourably. Regardless of what I have said, please do not let me get cancelled. This was just to enrage you all because of the way Canadians spell words, just as I was enraged of the American ways.
