The solution, of course, is to fix the grammar with an edit.

So, what's with the incomplete double quotes?. If you open them you should close them:
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo. "So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."
I suppose that If it were important to to indicate that the phrase is incomplete you could maybe add ellipses (...) but I don't think that's necessary for quotes in this website. What do other people think, am I correct?
