I'd say it's completely fair to express your opinion for a quote, (and yeah I've seen a lot of annoying quotes), but I think it's better to just down-vote the quote rather than bothering yourself with writing a comment because I think the quotes become archived when they're rated too low (not rly sure about it tho). And from what I could dig through Sabih's responses, I think he meant to say is that if you're gonna leave a comment, put it in a way to show constructive criticism...

But yeah whatever the internet is literally filled with egotistic and wannabe quirky cunts so I'd preserve some of the mental energy on the good quotes otherwise I'd go insane.

It's not toxic to voice one's opinion about the crappiness of a quote. Take sabih's tantrum as an example for toxicity (despite how funny the whole thing was). I'm not going to sugarcoat my words, and reading comments is never going to be a meditative hobby.

If I see a badly written quote that is desperate to sound quirky, I'm going to voice my distaste for it.

For the short time that I've been here, I have only stumbled upon contemptuous comments from you. Maybe it's just out of chance or something but it's understandable that some people may take offense to those comments especially if it's directed towards them. Other than that I honestly quite like this website and I'm interested to hear what people have to say. How about maybe forgetting about all the toxicity and raise the wholesomeness a little since after all it's only a typing website even though it's more like a stress relief/meditative hobby for me :)

Mechanical keyboards aren't necessarily what make your speed fast. Like I'm just using a simple cheap knock off "surface" keyboard and I'm feeling much more comfortable with it than mechanical keyboards. Your speed and progress depends on your methods of practice and comfort. I think I might've written some things in my profile which you might find helpful.
