My keyboard isn't that great, but from what people say who have used my laptop, it's pretty good for the laptop I have. I definitely didn't go out and buy a nice keyboard just for typing.
My suggestion is just go around and see if you can find a keyboard you really like. It's not too important, but I definitely do feel a difference when using a keyboard that just doesn't work for me.
