I'm sorry about your ego... :( but yes, fortunately (or unfortunately), I am human. I guess the good news is that it's definitely possible for improvement.
I started typing when I was really young and always found it a fun challenge to try typing faster and faster, so that might have helped a lot. That, and I spend way too much time on the computer.
