I've been typing since I started kindergarten and my class had the special treat of attending Computer Lab at least once a week. Of course that was back in ....the very early 90's. By middle school, I had found a Text Based RolePlay Game which required me to type to communicate. It was fantastic at helping me develop my typing skills! I struggle with Dyslexia and Dysgraphia, and sometimes my head and fingers don't quite get the right rhythm of working with one another. When I type what I am thinking rather than reading my wpm really skyrockets, but the second you throw numbers at me I'm pretty sure I drop about seventy IQ levels because I feel like I need to use the top row instead of the Number pad. I know. Face palm for me, okay? | |
