How often do people skip quotes?

I never skip any quotes, and I was just wondering if there are many others that do the same? Or if they do skip some how many and why.
Yeah it feels kinda cheap that halfway through the quote if I start to struggle I'll quit, but my score doesn't take a hit. Beggars can't be choosers I guess

I skip quotes pretty often. Sometimes I skip quotes simply because they don't look fun to type or having a lot of typos. Other than that, not sure. Just going off of vibes.

depends, I skip whenever I get the first letter wrong or when there's a LONG quote and I just don't feel like typing it.

If I am doing badly on a quote, I will type until the last word but without entering the last period, so the bad score doesn't get added and pull down my average. cheating i know...

I will skip a quote if A) I really don't like the quote, or B) If I start really stumbling over myself more than a couple times, especially if I'm typing words that I usually don't have trouble with.

I try to not skip any quotes, even the very long ones or the ones which looks are absolutely painful to type. The only time I skip quotes is if my accuracy is REALLY bad (below 90%), and that's usually out of frustration more than anything else. But (at least on Monkeytype) I try to finish at least 95% of the quotes I start.

This website is so punishing to your WPM score with even the slightest inaccuracies that if I mess up more than a handful of words I skip. The punishment for having mistakes on here is frankly one of the worst parts of this website. It's nice to learn to correct your mistakes, but this website's penalty system is frankly abysmal.

Depends on the mood. I'll skip because a quote doesn't look fun to types or feel too lazy to go for long paragraphs.

just right know. I skipped more than 10 quotes due to my consecutive errors getting on my nerves.

I skip them when there are too many grammatical errors.

I don't skip but I got one of my quotes and had a breakdown, I never wanna think about my presence in the world again.

I skip any time someone tries to quote themselves, especially talking about typing on this website- such a waste of time for everyone

I skip if I can detect some pretty serious typos or grammatical errors that would otherwise interrupt my flow.

It's awesome you do .dat whole thing with not skipping quotes because I keep mine in Notes App and read them over time when I get the chance. The Quotes including Title are all Great for learning too.

IKR! Like correcting your mistakes would naturally already lower your WPM even without the penalty...
