200 wpm races

Why the site doesn't accept scores over 200 wpm?
This site and Nitrotype are sites that seem to be anti-200. IF you do over 200, you get banned on Nitrotype. So, we have racers that intentionally max out at 199.
There are multiple people that can do that in the esport network. In fact, we had to set the bar for "Legendary" at 210, because so many people can do 200. On Typeracer, people can post scores well over 200 based off of a short quote, and I've done it myself many times.
In fact, if you watch our stream of the event, you will see quite a few 200+ scores posted. Some races were so close with both racers in 190s/200, and the winner would have to be determined by review (for lag).

I am just wondering even over 200 wpm possible? I mean, world record is 160 wpm or something like that.

The fastest English language typist is Barbara Blackburn, who reached a peak typing speed of 212 wpm during a test in 2005, using a Dvorak simplified keyboard.

I hit 200 a couple of times on this site, but it wasn't accepted. It can save the score of 199,99 wpm, but not 200.

She was an old typist, but right now, with those qwerty keyboards, I remember when one guy hitting over 300 wpm on one short quote, so, it's pretty possible.

There are plenty of people who have typed faster than her unofficially. Her record is not really even accepted amongst top typists.
Look at Sean Wrona. This guy typed 170+ wpm for 50 minutes (Barbara Blackburn only did 150)

I can't fathom 199 wpm....I am dying to know how people are getting that high?! I am fast but I have been out of work for 2 years and not typing much and still only back to 75 wpm!

Over 200 wpm is indeed possible, however less than 10 people have achieved that. Verified people are Sean Wrona, Alpha_Panda, and Barbara Blackburn, the person who holds the current world record of the world's fastest typist at 215 wpm.
