The double period at the end confused me, I was at 110 wpm and then slowed to 91 because it took me some time to notice the second period. -_-

Yes, the two quotes add up to 149 characters, so there is an extra period at the end to hit the 150 limit. I have suggested putting "Two quotes:" at the beginning to at least get rid of the period, and also to make it clear that the two sentences are not related, except by being from the same author.
