Text: The Welsh Terrier was originally used for hunting badgers, foxes and otters. Its devotees say that it resembles a smaller version of the Airedale Terrier (which it certainly looks like colour-wise), although it is more likely that it shares a common ancestry with the Lakeland Terrier.
