Text: The problem, no, the difficulty with learning a writing system is not so much memorizing what the different symbols, or characters, or letters represent - it's actually training your brain to read and to convert writing into meaning instantly. You can't discount the sort of familiarity that comes with a script that you grew up with. Each paragraph will be a test.
