Text: One of the things that helped me type faster was actually slowing down first. If you have trouble maintaining your speed till the end of a typing test, you can benefit from this as well. Instead of furiously mashing keys at the beginning to hit a high number just to fumble and lose valuable time undoing mistakes, slow down and type more deliberately until you can achieve more accuracy. Each paragraph will be a test.
