Willy Wonka Psychedelic Boat Ride - Willy Wonka

This quote was added by jackpott
There's no earthly way of knowing, which direction we are going. There's no knowing where we're rowing, or which way the river's flowing. Is it raining? Is it snowing? Is a hurricane a blowing? Not a speck of light is showing so the danger must be growing. Are the fires of hell a glowing? Is the grisly reaper mowing? Yes! The danger must be growing, for the rowers keep on rowing. And they're certainly not showing any signs that they are slowing!

@hadassah_mom no, double spacing after a period is an obsolete trick used in the old ages of mechanical typewriters. In our modern times, no double spaces are needed, since your typesetter (LaTeX or Word) is smart enough to handle the proper spacing well. Your claim about the 'rules of typing' is not true any more (though I think the site accepts double spaces after some punctuation marks).

There must ALWAYS be a double space after a period, a question mark or an exclamation mark. There is no way a typist can guess at the amount of spaces required after punctuation - it must follow the 'rules' of typing. This quote is a typists nightmare.
