When my mother died, someone told me, "I can only imagine what it must be like to lose someone you love." My response to her, and to anyone in general is this. Don't even try to imagine it if you have never lost someone. I say this, because trying to envision what it must be like is almost like you are putting that person in the grave prematurely. There is no need to put yourself through that pain. Instead, cherish what you have and know that you will face that pain eventually. But not today.
