Why do people have to use the word 'beautiful' in quotes (also I promise not to use it anymore throughout the rest of this quote)? It's literally the most frustrating word to type because you have to stop typing the vowels with your left hand and then you have to press the 'u' key with your right hand, disrupting the flow of the word! I hate it so much! UGH! Same is with the word 'because' due to putting the 'u' in the middle of the word!

My father was abusive. He was drunk every single night, and the amount of beers he had correlated to the amount of bruises I had to show. He used to say, in his more humorous sober state: "I only drink beer three days a week. Yesterday, today, and tomorrow." It was then that I realized the extent of his alcoholism.

Alright, before I get started: please don't dislike this quote due to its length or the amount of punctuation in it. Long quotes, even though they might not look as flashy as long quotes, help you more. Trust me. So when I say, "Never skip long quotes; these quotes - they are the best thing for you," I mean it. I mean it! Never skip the long quotes: they are the best? Yes, they are.

- Why do we Love Short Quotes?
You know it. I know it. When you see a short quote, it makes everything so much easier. But why? Simply because of consistency. Longer quotes, with more punctuation require more focus. No one likes that.
