This is just wrong. It's true that exercises that combine multiple muscle groups are the best in the long run for overall strength and growth in athleticism, but it's total nonsense that isolation exercises don't do anything for muscle growth. This statement also seems to criticize a group of people that don't really exist -- I mean, who the hell goes to the gym to do ONLY bicep curls, leg curls, and tricep extensions? Most conventional exercises are compoud motions which include multiple muscles in one motion. People that don't know shit about working out are bound to include at least 3 or 4 compound exercises in their workout, just by virtue of these exercises being famous and effective. Pushups, presses, squats, and pull ups are some examples. Who the fuck wrote this
