Myself.
- Stuck
One of the worst feelings one could experience in life is the feeling of not making progress. Even worse than running out of time is that time having been wasted without any significant impact on your life. It's not that I'm doing things that are seen as unproductive, but that I'm not even having fun doing them. Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted, but I seem to not be able to even achieve that. I'm just existing without enjoying my time or hating it, just apathetic. It is a hellish fate.

- The practice speech.
We're talking about practice. Not a game; not the game that I go out there and die for and play every game like it's my last; not the game; we're talking about practice, man. I mean, how silly is that?

- Sculptor quote
"A sculptor may strike a stone a thousand times before revealing the sculpture." A long time ago, I heard this quote from somewhere and used it to motivate myself for many of the things I have accomplished. I decided that I should post this quote on this website so that maybe someone else can benefit from it too. However, when I looked this quote up to credit the author, I could not find the original quote. So until I find the original author of the quote, I guess I will take credit for it.

- Looking at my keyboard.
Lately, I've noticed that sometimes whilst typing I am looking down at my keyboard. However, this isn't because I am unfamiliar with my keyboard and that I need to see where the keys are, rather it seems this is purely just a bad habit that stuck around from I was still learning how to type. I don't know how to overcome this habit but I will gladly report that I typed this without looking down at all.

- Typing is fun
The reason I began to type was so that I could be faster than my friends. But around when I crossed 90 WPM, I stopped typing to get faster and just for the hell of it. Typing became a fun hobby of mine that I could convince myself was a skill that was definitely, totally useful in my everyday life. Now, whenever I'm stressed, I start typing. Whenever I'm bored, I start typing. If I'm watching or listening to something, I'm probably typing on the other tab. Typing is fun.

- Take a break.
Recently, I have been struggling to increase my typing score and have felt frustrated and defeated. In my frustration, I decided to stop typing all together and find other hobbies until I got my motivation back. To my surprise, when I returned to typing, I found that I'm much faster, and my accuracy was boosted too. In conclusion, if you feel stuck, take a break, and then come back. There is no shame in it.

Switching from other typing websites to this one has truly been a humbling experience for me. I went very quickly from 100 WPM to the low 60s. This was mostly due to the punctuation and numbers in these tests, which weren't there on other websites. Despite my struggles, I am happy I switched, as I feel I have become a much better and more practical typist. I am now in the high 70s and making my way back to 100!
Kobe Bryant
- Kobe Bryant class presentation in 1996
My name is Kobe Bryant. I'm 17 years old, and I've been lucky enough to live not only in different parts of the United States but Europe as well. My father played professional basketball; he played for the Philadelphia 76ers, the Houston Rockets, and the San Diego Clippers. He played professional basketball for 8 years, and after his 8th year, he decided it would be best for him to move on and take his talent elsewhere, so we packed our bags and moved to Italy.

How unlucky I am that this should happen to me. But not at all. Perhaps, say how lucky I am that I am not broken by what has happened, and I am not afraid of what is about to happen. For the same blow might have stricken anyone, but not many would have absorbed it without capitulation and complaint.
