If you are staying silent on this issue, you are choosing the side of the oppressor. If you are saying that not all cops are bad, you are choosing the side of the oppressor. If you are just telling yourself that you're not racist, so it's okay, that is not enough. You need to be actively anti-racist at a time like this. Don't stay silent. Let your voice be heard. If you truly believe that black lives matter, then do something about it. Fight for their rights.

If you are someone saying "All Lives Matter," may I ask why? Do you go up to a burning house and refuse to help put out the fire because you say all houses matter? Do you go to a funeral and say all deaths matter? No. You don't. Because you realize that the house on fire needs help, and that the funeral is for that specific person who has died. No one ever said that all lives didn't matter. Don't be mad that you don't have a movement, be glad that you don't need one.

It's currently June 2, 2020 and there are protests going on all across the country supporting the Black Lives Matter movement. Police brutality is a real problem in this country because the system was built on injustice and racism. There needs to be change. Sign petitions, donate your time and money, attend protests if it's safe for you to do so, and most importantly, don't stay silent. Staying silent is choosing the side of the oppressor. Spread awareness, and make change happen.

- Typing Isn't a Waste of Time
There are a few people on here that make quotes about how their job is boring or they don't want to do work, so they come onto this site to type quotes and waste their time. I don't think that typing is a waste of time, because if you're typing to improve your WPM, then it's not a waste of time, it's practice. Athletes don't practice and call it a waste of time. To get good at something, you have to practice, and it isn't a waste of time because each time you get better and better.

You want to buy candy at the store for 7 dollars, you borrow 5 dollars from your dad and 5 dollars from your mom. You buy your candy, and the cashier gives you 3 dollars in change. You need to pay your parents back, so you give one dollar to your mom, one dollar to your dad, and you keep the last dollar. Social distancing is not a suggestion. Social distancing is in place so that the coronavirus doesn't spread more than it already has. This pandemic is serious, and people need to treat it as such. The president is not doing anything to help the situation, but YOU CAN. You can practice social distancing, stay home, and wash your hands. This all will contribute to the end of this pandemic.

You can have your own opinions, but not everyone is going to agree with you.
