Eh, it sounds more like deal with every opportunity with the strategy that has the best chance for success. The writer's definition would be better suited to "Operate the part of the boat you are most qualified for." Raising the sail is not easy, but has to be done, making the choice to use one's stronger hand is the best way to succeed, and you can hold your beverage with the other.
Also, what is difference between goes and literally goes?
