Count of Monte Cristo - Alexandre Dumas

This quote ble lagt til av typingenthusiast
He who has felt the deepest grief is best able to experience supreme happiness... Live, then and be happy beloved children of my heart and never forget that until the day when God shall deign to reveal the future to man, all human wisdom is summed up in these two words - wait and hope.

No, that's not so. It's more like this: a person knows himself only a bit, and the world only less, nver more. We each have a our own complex set of emotions, and we can go deep in some and only midlin in others. And that complex can change some at times. but each can in circumstance experience the deepest--in life, the world we might know beyond life could be far far deeper, deep here meaning far more rich, beyond a comprehension in life--including happiness. The experience of any other of the emotional suite is unnecessary. But it is likely. There are pairings: but I do not pair grief and happiness, according to experience and learned traditon. The pairing for deep grief is comfort, a competed comfort, one that is whole beyond whole.
