And deep in the grickle-grass, some people say, if you look deep enough you can still see, today, where the Lorax once stood just as long as it could before somebody lifted the Lorax away. Great book excerpt! This brought back memories for me....this was my kids' favorite book....I would read it to them every single night before bed. Now I have a son who is taking environmental sciences....I wonder if the Lorax had something to do with that...

Every parent should read this book to their children!
