Warm Ups

I feel like most of you guys just stay on this site and only this site to type. I see quotes that mention skipping long quotes with a bunch of punctuation to find short, easy, fast ones.
Honestly, I would just type on
10fastfingers.com or typings.gg before visiting this one. Both have some really, really easy words you can warm up your muscle memory and fingers. I went from averaging 100-110 to the mid 120 range. I even got really close to setting a new record for myself this year.
TL;DR: Warm up on typings.gg before setting your stats.
every time i type on ten fast i always type slower for some reason, i feel that my brain cant read the random words fast enough. most of the time i use intuition to predict the next word on Keyhero

I too am getting tired of seeing those so-called quotes as well. All it is is a bunch of nonsense.

I tried them both, didn't care for 10fastfingers. Using typings.gg I've put out 80-95 consistently, and it has pushed my recent games score here from 70ish to 75ish.

I understand that. Some people swear by it, but I just can't type out random words very quickly. I drop in average speed by ~20WPM while typing on that site.
It's a great site, but when in the world am I gonna be typing random words in quick succession as opposed to typing out structured sentences and quotes?
