Trouble double pressing keys

Lately I've had some troubles with double pressing keys which is really hurting my practice. Has anyone else experienced this and has figured out what causes it? Before I would just doo it with the space bar, but now it's happening with other letters more frequently. Thanks!
I think you may be dealing with a case of Parkinsons.

I'm pretty sure that double-pressing keys is really hard to do for everyone because you have to move the same finger constantly.

In the rhythm game scene this is called a "jack," as in "jackhammer." The way you improve this skill is to practice tapping a key to a beat and gradually increase tempo until you can no longer press the key with 100% precise timing. For typing you would have to do this with each finger. Usually I start with consecutive streams of eighth notes at 150bpm and work my way up to about 260bpm.
