Should slow typists have full human rights?

A difficult thing to consider, for sure. But if an objective measure like average typing speed across >400 games shows someone is not as good as someone else, it is hard to want that poor typist to be able to do things like vote, have freedom of speech, live among competent typists, etc.
Discuss.
Think of it like writing a line of code...

No, if your WPM is below 90, I honestly think sterilization or euthanasia is the best course of action. We really can't afford to have slow typists in the gene pool in this information age.

Seconded, as someone who can't type above 40 wpm and above 80% accuracy I wholeheartedly support this statement. Take my balls away and throw me to the river, I implore you. TAKE MY BALLS.

this is funny, I don't think touch typing matters that much in the world

Long live user coolby, our prophet and messiah. May their wisdom lead us to glory. It was about time for someone to show up and see how much better we are than everyone else. Praise the TTMR (touch typist master race).
Btw, if you still need an executioner I'll gladly cut all the slow typists in pieces.

5705412- interesting take. How many person-hours per day do you think are spent typing? It is easily in the hundreds of millions, possibly billions. Per day. I would say it is very important, indicative of your inherent worth. Now, in response to the the posed question, we have had some great thoughts. They have been generally supportive. I would hate for you to fall on the wrong side of any revolution. Consider ...typing... out your evolution of thoughts on this matter. It might help.

If the people choose me, I will lead them, and I will not need anyone to dictate typed messages to.

Amen, I can barely hit over 50 WPM (as a high score). I'm willing to take the "L". Like in Starship Troopers where you have to earn the right to be a citizen.

This is startling to consider the facts.

I’m pretty sure we’re progressing a trend of increases in typing speeds after the years. slow typists are fine, but I can’t fathom the inconveniences of their disadvantages.

I really appreciate hearing this. As someone on the "other side" of things, would you be willing to work in labor camps, or do something like farming, for the good of society? It seems like a tiered system would be best, somewhere around 100 wpm. But I want to make sure we wouldn't get uprisings. Obviously, with the >100 wpm group communication would be very fast and superior so things could be controlled easier, but better to prevent than suppress.

Why hasn't this been posted to the garlic news site yet

I have changed my mind. Slow typists need to be held to full accountability through the measures of torture and castration. Agony, pain, and seething burn like a raging fire inside of my heart. It has brought my greatest sorrows, watching people with 40 WPMs struggle on the simplest of quotes. I can not fathom placing myself in their perspectives. All these peasants must be reduced to their wallets for those who type fast to collect. Human rights has become a privilege in this context, reserved only for those who can type well.

I'm on 243 games... I'm only on 50 wpm; I need to hurry up with improvement before I lose my balls...(might be because I'm on a broken laptop keyboard though)
