Keyhero typists age range?

I'm curious to know if touchtyping made it to gen z, so can i know everyone's ages? I'm 19 btw.
Another zoomer here, in my early 20s. Started touch typing this summer after many years of 'gamer typing' with left hand hovering over wasd and right hopping all over the shop.

I started in middle school we had a computer lab class that taught basic stuff like word, excel, powerpoint and very little coding. But now whenever I want to procrastinate or look productive I come on here. I'm 18 by the way and have a 70 wmp.

Learned touch-typing in school, that was about 6 years ago, now I'm 17 and got 150wpm+ on quotes and 200wpm+ on 1 minute typing tests.

Turned 15 a couple of weeks ago, I've been using typing sites for a bit over 2 years now, and average 105 wpm; I only use 2/3 fingers though

I'm 38. I never took typing in school and had to look at the keyboard to type up until about 4 months ago. I made a conscious effort to learn to touch-type. I made it up to about 50 wpm consistently until I realized that the QWERTY system is horribly inefficient. I switched to Dvorak a couple months ago. I struggled at first, getting 25 wpm on a good run, but I kept practicing. I just beat my highest score this morning with 80.64 wpm. It's not quite where I want to be, as I would eventually like to get to 100 wpm consistently... but I'm happy with my progress so far.

Congratulations on learning how to touch-type! With practice, you will get to 100 wpm very quickly.

We learned touch typing in elementary school with those dreaded orange jelly keyboard coverings. I was around 8 or 9 and they really drilled it into us so I didn't have to go back and learn again. I'm 26 now. Do they still do that in school?

I'm 34 and as of two weeks ago I wasn't really able to type without looking and more or less just pecked away at the keys. As of today I am averaging about 25 WPM. I started on typing.com and eventually found this site.

I am about to turn 25 in a month. I found this site when I was 17. I wanted to get better at typing because first and foremost, it's a useful skill in my life. School, work, and otherwise. I was DEEP into it when I found the site and it really expedited the process of committing the keyboard layout to muscle memory. I know how to type with "proper form" but honestly don't even really use it in my daily life. I come back to the site every now and then to test myself when I feel rusty

I remember getting free time in 2nd grade to do typing on the shared class computer if I got done with my work early. Since then I've always loved typing, and now 21, a senior in college.
