Keyhero has always allowed superior forms of communication that don't require the use of explatives to make up for the lack of peoples poor language skills in comments and threads

You want to know how to use such power? Just think before you type, for a good 10 seconds at least before you say something, think about how you can say that in a way that requires the utmost minimal factor of language skills and thoughtful discourse. Instead of saying "Hey, bro... What if cows had wings, man." Instead possibly think about what you're going to say and instead output your thoughts and say "Hello, I'd like to engage in conversation with you, do not worry, you do not need to respond for me to disclose my current process of thought to you in this moment. I ponder the reality in which the Cow known as the Bos Taurus in the scientific community somehow comes to find itself in the situation where it has the evolutionary quandary that it has now developed large forelimbs that bear large feathers. What have you to add to the conversation in this context, my good sir?"
Guys you don't need to fight about this.
People who say that profanities are bad, are right
People who say that freedom of speech is a fundamental right, are also right.
People who say that it's not good for children, are also right,
Do you see my point ?
Nobody can lose, so arguing is useless.

I am shocked that you were able to form such a syntactically and grammatically complex sentence about cows having wings in the context of the literature gore that is your thread title.

Thank you. I can appreciate a compliment followed with a bit of constructive criticism.

Illogical. You can disagree with gas prices but still drive a car. You can detest the pedophillic actions of members of the catholic church and still praise and interact with and enjoy the gospel to which it relates. The argument "If you don't like it then don't participate in it" is absolutely ignorant. "Nobody can lose, so arguing is useless." Is basically begging people not to discuss the issue at hand because you feel uncomfortable. Nothing can ever get done and nobody can be eased with the situation if nobody talks about it. It's idiotic to find a bomb-like object in the middle of the room and to just ignore it because half of the room thinks it's a threat and the others think it just is cookware that's inconsequential to their lives. No, you call the police, assess the threat, investigate and come to a conclusion.
Trying to say that civil discourse about a controversial topic is unnecessary is to be brain numbingly ignorant. Everything and anything should be questioned. And I personally believe as stated in my title above that curses and expletives and overall rude and Neanderthal level vocabularies are insignificant and unnecessary when it comes to typing. Not only does it set a precedent that invalidates everything done so far but it also kicks sand in the face of anyone who prefers a formal and civil environment.
This new standard for language and overall conversation on this website has devolved into inebriated chimps throwing excrement because now they're allowed to. I feel it's only beneficial to imbeciles who can't construct an opinion without saying bad words that make them feel cool and make their high moral value holding parents very upset. It's childish and immature. It's an embarrassment to the typing community.

So I agree with superboa for the most part. I don't think I would go as far as he seems to have for how formal we need to be. I think it's fine to stay simple just make sure you are clear, to be honest I think more simple and informal dialogue is much easier to make clear especially online. Sure re-read your stuff to make sure it's competent and gets your point across, but I don't think you need to go all Academic Adam on it. It's fine to type in your own voice while having discussions. I think cursing is fine but unnecessary most of the time, but I don't think the inclusion of curse words immediately makes a thought or statement less valid. Just don't hurl insults at each other. I'm fine with cursing on the internet and think it should be up to the provider of the website. I would however probably be in favor of this particular website banning profanity since it is a website that is probably heavily used by children and probably in schools sometimes too. I think that discussions on this sort of stuff need to be had, but maybe this website isn't the best place in the world for it. Go for it though, I mean hey I'm taking part so I obviously don't mind that much.
