Empires come and go but Russia, almost as large of Pluto surface-wise, will remain 4ever!

*as large _AS_ Pluto (oops!)
Russia is a planet masquerading as a country. Warmongering "tovarish" John Ivanovich McCain once said that 'Russia is a gas station masquerading as a country'.
- Mongol Empire
- French Empire
- Mexican Empire
- Empire of Japan
- Spanish Empire
- British Empire
- Soviet Empire
- American Empire
- etc etc

The Russian Empire existed for less than 200 years. The Empire of Japan traces its lineage for the past like 2000 years.

"The Empire of Japan (Japanese: 大日本帝国, Hepburn: Dai Nippon Teikoku) is a historical nation-state along with its colonies, protectorates, mandates, and other territories that existed from the Meiji Restoration in 1868 until the enactment of the 1947 constitution and subsequent formation of modern Japan."

The state was a "loose association" of places, and fell to the mongols in the 1240s. I don't consider that a continuous empire...

Are you actually gloating, pindos*? We sent them back where they came from in 1380 (Battle of Kulikovo). He who laughs last, laughs best! Live by the sword, die by the sword. In 1380, US wasn't even a British colony. It wasn't even on the map XD XD
Furthermore, it's not like US hasn't been invaded once or twice in their history. Need I remind you about 9/11 and Pearl Harbor?
US started off its history with the barbaric conquest of the lands which once belonged to the Natives. Natives were duped and slaughtered in thousands by the Old World settlers (= "human vermin"). You should be ashamed of your ancestors but I'm sure you'll come up with some sort of contentious justification. You always do.
* "Pindos" or "Pendos" (rus: Пиндос) in the Russian language is a derogatory ethnic slur, used to refer to Americans. Originally, the term was used to refer to US military servicemen, but it gradually became a universal disparaging term to refer to all Americans. Other slur terms to refer to the United States such as Pindosiya and Pindostan (rus: Пиндосия, Пиндостан) have also been derived. Some sources claim that the term was first used by Russian military servicemen during Kosovo War, where they allegedly heard this term. According to Russian soldiers, it was perfect fit for "armed to the teeth and coward American soldier".

Fewer than 10,000 people died cumulatively in those attacks yet the magnitude of their significance in US history is so great. It speaks to the relative security from international attacks that the country faces. How many Russians have died fighting on Russian soil?
What? Name one instance in which I have agreed with a straw man about sympathizing with US related atrocities? One. I have agreed with you every step of the way that the US has done terrible things. American Colonialism was terrible, I don't have justification for that. One can explain the racist/genocidal justification of the time in order to learn about it, but that doesn't make it good or right.
The difference between you and I is that I will accept fault, I will accept that my country is not perfect. I don't recall an instance when you have accepted or acknowledged that Russia or anything we have talked about has been at fault or wrong. THAT is the sign of a blinded nationalist. A narcissist. A guy who digs his head in the sand and doesn't respond to questions he doesn't have actual answers to. Feeling the need to attack my beliefs and my country and my values constantly reflects a lack of interest in considering or reflecting on your own. I say "Russia does x" and you don't respond with much about Russia but instead "yes well the US does this".
It truly seems like you equate admitting wrongdoing or mistakes with weakness. Is that true? There is very little room for growth or humility with that mentality, in my opinion.
Hahahahaha thank you for making sure I am aware you are using a derogatory ethnic slur towards me. Good to verify that you are trying to be offensive.

Meanwhile, Russo-Ukrainian elites can literally elect (= buy) a US president these days; Russian Trump vs Ukrainian Biden ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°) How old are you, sir? You sound like a boomer who still holds dearly those outdated, offensively naïve, and condescending Russophobic stereotypes about the current state of the Russian economy. Lol you literally plagiarized a scene from "EuroTrip" (2004): they had $10-20 remaining which was apparently enough to throw a lavish dinner party in Bratislava (Slovakia). So, this is how you do your research (*SMH*). Perhaps, you meant Romanian or Hungarian gypsy villages. Actually, what you just described here might be the case for that one village in Chukotka where Mr Roman Abramovich once used to live. I'll give you that lol. Oh yeah, I've been to your Bible Belt, Rust Belt and post-ironically visited your tornado-torn trailer parks (= makeshift US villages) in Southeast Texas (Beaumont/Vidor). In some areas of Detroit, I can literally buy a house for $10-20 'nuff said XD XD XD
Most Russians would agree they'd rather live modestly than have an expensive or inaccessible healthcare system. New Covid-19 death record in US: 3,127. That's really sad.
"oy vey"??? Are you Jewish by any chance? That would explain a lot. In US, first- and second-generation Jewish immigrants tend to have some inherited negative bias towards Soviet and Russian governments, despite the fact that the Red Army had liberated thousands [jews] from the Nazi concentration camps.
Last time I checked, ~40 million Americans still live below the poverty line. It seems that American educational system has failed you. Here, educate yourself:

Plus, income inequality has increased drastically in US over the recent years. Gini coefficient is below 50%, 48% to be exact. It's on par with Mexico's (0.47) and Madagascar's (0.475). However, woke Berkeley and Ivy League kids will have you convinced that the gender pay gap is a much more "problematic" issue at hand.
I understand that you, Americans, don't like it when your noses get rubbed in your own pile of noxious cr@p. Tough luck! You expect your vassals to bow down and behave like obedient lapdogs: G7 summit = USA + its 6 vassal states. You even treat your closest ally, Canada, like a bítch: no nukes, get treated like a bítch. I absolutely <3 when US politicians "dig their heads in the sand and not respond to questions they don't have actual answers to" when foreign politicians like Putin and Xi call out their bull$hit. US government believes that America holds moral high ground on the world stage, and its president is the leader of the so-called Free "Democratic" World. Give me a break. Well, that could've been the case but then the bombings of Hiroshima/Nagasaki/Belgrade and the post-Soviet NATO's eastward expansion took place, permanently eliminating any hope. So proud of Russian Navy boys who forced U.S. destroyer 'John McCain' out of Russian waters in Vladivostok last month. Go Russian Navy! So glad we built a military base in La Orchila, Venezuela. Your beloved Monroe Doctrine doesn't apply to all South American countries.

Have you heard about this guy? He threatened to drown US by tilting Earth's axis. Disturbing stuff.
WRT Iraq War, this is what he actually said about the then Secretary of State [Condoleezza Rice]:
"She is a bl@ck wh0re who needs a good c0ck. Send her here, one of our divisions will make her happy in the barracks one night. She will choke on Russian sperm as it will be leaking out of her ears... until she crawls to the US embassy in Moscow on her knees."
In 2006, he again disparaged Condoleezza Rice (by then America's Secretary of State) by saying:
"Condoleezza Rice released a coarse anti-Russian statement. This is because she is a single woman who has no children. She loses her reason because of her late single status…If she has no man by her side at her age, he will never appear. Even if she had a whole selection of men to choose from she would stay single because her soul and heart have hardened… Condoleezza Rice needs a company of soldiers. She needs to be taken to barracks where she would be satisfied. On the other hand, she can hardly be satisfied because of her age."
-- I'm not saying I approve of his somewhat "firm language" use, but we're all adults here. I'm only quoting him.
And here's what he said about "tovarish" John Ivanovich McCain himself. He's the one wearing a light-gray jacket:

Absolutely wrong about the G7 and us wanting other countries to bow down. I (and I'm sure mattman) don't support that kind of policy. None of us have complete control over the policies that politicians take. Just because our country does it doesn't mean we support it. That kind of policy frustrates me to like it clearly frustrates you.
You seem to be much more interested in divisiveness and a "we are actually better than you" attitude than anything else. There are pros and cons to both of our countries. "state-sponsored"
Here you go throwing labels around agian. It may surprise you but you haven't exactly said anything new to me. I'm well aware that it's a Kremlin-backed Russian media outlet (btw very popular in N America & EU!) which came about as a result of vicious Russophobic propaganda from Western media channels like CNN/MSNBC. You're so naive for thinking that you'd shame me by pointing out RT's "state-sponsored" nature lol. Pu$$y youtube even tags it for gullible Americans such as yourself: "RT is funded in whole or in part by the Russian government". That's why I'm not surprised why you'd think this [argument] could act as your ultimate trump card in this round.
It's as if there's something inherently terrible with RT being a state-sponsored news outlet. Let me ask you this, though. Is it any different than your lopsided US state-sponsored "Voice of America", "Liberty Radio" (RFERL) or Spanish-speaking Cuban "Radio y Televisión Martí"? These 3 media outlets broadcast Russophobic US propaganda 24/7/365. According to our Übermensch coolby here, it's okay for US to subsidize its state-sponsored TV/radio/newspaper outlets, but God forbid if Russia owns a single English-speaking Kremlin-backed news channel outlet; sounds like another double standard. In case you didn't realize, there's an on-going information war. As you know, all is fair in love and war. Also, if you believe that Putin is bad for Russia, then I'm afraid the Capitol Hill and Pentagon got you where they need.
Dang it, I really need to spell everything out for you, guys. Will you ever be able to handle alternative POV?? US and Western media (except France & Quebec maybe) will never allow their news presenters to say anything positive/nice about Russia nor invite any pro-Kremlin guests. Tovarish coolby, would you kindly look into this, please? Macron is a total jérk btw.

Haha Richard Dawkins would like evidence for the existence of God. That's a pretty fair ask, seeing as there is none (that would go against the concept of faith). He asks for evidence to demonstrate that a belief in God is unlike everything else that humans process, and gives people an opportunity to realize and consider that.
What else is one supposed to do when they are repeatedly ignored and presented with no support for a claim?? Of course you ask for evidence. That is how people can give credit to or discredit claims.
I ultimately agree there is not any evidence to directly link Putin to the killing of journalists. But there is clearly a statistically insurmountable point to be made that Russia journalists that are anti-Putin die with greater frequency than dissident journalists in any other first world country. That is extremely suspect.

The best defense is not a good offense in discussion. The whole point of it is that all the facts should come to light. Not that one party should be aggressive enough to silence the other or ignore the other to the point that they think their points make more sense. The point is that truth wins.

Or that Activia yogurt isn't just targeted to women in Russia but instead is eaten by everyone? Or that you have different % milk fat milks in Russia? Of course I have been to Russia. It was a great experience.
When I made that point I was doing just that- one doesn't have to have been to a place in order to think about it, and say things about it. I can say "it is bad that diamond miners on Madagascar are worked to death and exploited", yet have never been there. My point is no less valid.

Wow. Re-read that point. "If you are against Putin you are against Russia". Unbelievable. That is an incredibly close minded thing to say, that one individual IS the representation of a country. Russia has 150 million people. Doesn't Putin hover around 70-75% popularity? Regardless, there are 10s of millions of RUSSIANS that don't support Putin. They're all anti-Russia? Maybe it's just that they don't believe everything they see on RT ;)
Russia doesn't need Crimea to stay strong. You already have ocean port access. If you believe that then you can be convinced of other falsehoods that are designed to convince you something is "good" for your country's strength (when really it serves to antagonize you against much of the western world).

Covfefe is the right "misspelling" though. It's now become a pretty cool neologism:

Wasn't it Wendy who kept asking Dawkins to show her the evidence though? She didn't know where to find ancient fossils... go to the Smithsonian, dumb bítch! ^___^

Looks like he's very pleased with his new title "King of Sealions". Sealions are not really interested in hearing the other side, no matter how much evidence you present them. They just want to waste their time. Ok, be my guest. I'll leave it at that.

Maybe US doesn't need its military presence in the Middle East and Japan to stay strong. US already has 100+ military bases around the world. You already have ocean port access. If you believe that then you can be convinced of other falsehoods that are designed to convince you something is "good" for your country's strength (when really it serves to antagonize you against much of the world).

"But there is clearly a statistically insurmountable point to be made that Russia journalists that are anti-Putin die with greater frequency than dissident journalists in any other first world country. That is extremely suspect."
Reach out to Dmitry Peskov for further clarifications. When it comes to Putin's shenanigans, he's your guy.
