Accuracy

I read someone who posted a message regrading quotes used to practice on this site that were not spelled correctly. I have noticed not only spelling but grammatical errors as well. I must agree with the other post that stated it causes you to make errors because when you type the word and spell it like it should be spelled, it is marked as if it were wrong because the quote was misspelled. It is difficult to avoid making typing errors when this occurs. The same goes for grammar and punctuation errors as well.
yeah I mean, just stick to using quotes from famous people, books, movies etc. instead of writing a sentence yourself

I do not believe that is necessarily true. Some people are capable of writing quotes that are interesting, provide a message, and they are able to use excellent grammatical and spelling when composing their quotes. I also found some of the quotes posted are absolutely ridiculous, and no meaning, and make absolutely no sense. Please consider using personal quotes as long as they meet the abovementioned standards.

Personally I don't really care. This website is not about spelling, grammar, or putting out a coherent thought. Not at all. It's about typing and learning to type something as it is as you're seeing it for the first time. So in my opinion a few spelling mistakes and grammatical errors are good to keep you on your toes. I think you guys are just being picky babies lol jkjk :).

The skill of learning to replicate grammatical errors is not needed.

It doesn't matter if you just practice typing accurately without thinking about the grammar and meaning

*bad grammar version:
it no matter if u no care about grammer

For me, grammar and punctuation is so deeply ingrained in my thinking, that I have to actively slow down my typing in order to "correctly" copy the error. I don't really see value in practising that ...

If it is a blatant error, and not open for interpretation, I usually just submit a correction to the quote afterwards. That correction gets reviewed anyway, so if it's actually my understanding of grammar that is wrong, the fix just gets rejected :-)

I think the best you can do is give those quotes a bad rating. That's what I do when I'm messed up by bad grammar.

I don't mind, because it is about finding the right keys, not to spell right. Just copy what you see in front of you.
