Comforting a Friend - Myself
If you are ever fortunate enough to be the aid of a friend in their time of need remember this: what they say while they're suffering may not be the truth. They might say awful, mean, and hurtful things. They might criticize you or someone you care about. While they mean these things, they don't mean as much as what comes after. If you are able to comfort them, what they say after they've let everything out will be one of the most honest things you've ever heard.
