Having a crush is like having a favorite stuffed animal, and then your mom gives that stuffed animal to someone else, and then you have to watch as they play with it. Like, if your crush gets a boyfriend or girlfriend, you have to watch as they have a happy relationship. It kinda sucks.
I'm pretty sure we've all been in this situation before. If I were you, I'd wait it out. There's probably better people out there for you. If you think this is the one, then see if their relationship ever ends with the person they're with. Give it a about a month or two before asking, and then if you think that they'd be on board with a relationship, go for it.
Sorry...I shouldn't have assumed you were interested in a male. That was thoughtless of me, especially considering that I'm bisexual....it's just not often that I come across young women who have their sexuality all figured out. Good on you!

If you want him (or anything else for that matter) just go out and get him. As you get older, you'll find you'll be kicking yourself in the ass a lot for all the chances you didn't take....not the ones that you did take
Well...I'm of the opinion that if you didn't reveal your crush to this person and he/she went ahead and found someone else, then there's no one to blame but yourself for not being forward enough to ask him/her out yourself. Then too bad so sad for you
On the other hand, if you did reveal that you liked him/her and the feelings weren't reciprocated.....that totally sucks!
