My tip to improve your typing speed is to...Practice, Practice, Practice. I find that ANYTHING is perfected when you do it often, and do it well. You can pretty much learn and master anything you want if you put forth THE TIME to do it. When you make time for it you also find your weaknesses, which will show you where improvement can be made. WISH talking in SIGN language was as easy as this website.

I get faster.

What really helped me improve my typing speed is...practice, practice, practice. You can't get very good at anything unless you keep doing it daily. So I make sure to log on once a day even if it is to just type one or two lessons. Keeps your mind SHARP and your skills even SHARPER. Hoping I can contribute to others along the way too!

When my fingers hurt after too much time on the keyboard, I...let them rest. There is a proper way to hold your hands up to the keyboard. Some are designed to help improve the position of your wrists. It's best to keep your fingers, hands, and wrists as relaxed as possible.

What really helped me improve my typing speed is...PRACTICE. Therefore, a website like this is ideal for someone trying to get back into the swing of things.

My tip to improve your typing speed is to...practice a little bit each day. I don't liked to be timed when I take tests, but that was the method that was used that helped me become faster at typing. So it pays to sometimes time yourself. And see how fast you can get it done without mistakes.

I am currently a free lance worker where I can take different assignments at different locations. This has helped me find a job at a Fork Lift company as a Receptionist. I've worked in the office setting for the past 25 years. I take pride in how well I do my job, so I am trying to get faster at TYPING. Although this job doesn't require a great deal of it, I like to be quick at anything I put my mind to. I had an EXCELLENT teacher in 10th Grade "KEYBOARDING" that taught me how to type without looking at my hands or the monitor for that matter. I became very good at it and give her much credit for my typing accuracy! Even to this DAY! ! :)
