Only use Junk Car buying companies if your car is actually junk!

Just a little PSA lol. Sites like WeBuyAnyCar and CarsForCash will rip you the hell off if your car is in good condition (should be obvious but people make mistakes), however they (especially CarsForCash) will give a pretty good price if your car is actually junk for whatever reason.

Both of those example sites tried to give my friend $1000 for his 2017 Toyota Corolla which runs great, no damage. Worth AT LEAST 10,000. In fact his trim goes for almost 20,000 used. I would have expected his quote to be at least 6 grand, which would still be a rip off.

Now look at my situation. 2004 Toyota Camry. 250,000 miles. Body damaged to the point where the trunk doesn't even open. Head Gasket is leaking and about to blow. Burns oil out the wazoo. Knocks like crazy and overheats after a few minutes. They gave me 485 dollars for it. That's more than it's worth honestly.

Just a random PSA for anyone trying to sell a car. If your vehicle is even halfway decent, hold out for a person to person sale. IF your car is literal trash, go for the Junk Car Buyers.
